Domestic hot water
Water heaters, boilers and heat pumps
The most common breakdown, and the one that can least afford to wait. We work on gas, electric and heat pump units, both instantaneous and storage.
If the water comes out cold, lukewarm or in fits and starts, or the unit switches itself off, there's a diagnosis for it. Most can be repaired.

Heating
A warm home when you need it
Gas and oil boilers, radiators and underfloor heating, in houses, flats and central systems in residential buildings.
We fix the fault that has brought the system to a halt and carry out the pre-winter service, the one that prevents most emergencies.

Heat pumps and air conditioning
One unit for cooling, heating and hot water
A heat pump provides heating in winter, cooling in summer and hot water all year round. It's the most efficient appliance in the house and the one where maintenance makes the most difference: with the filters, pressures and settings right, it delivers maximum performance with minimum consumption.
It's electronic: when something goes wrong, it usually shows a code on the display. Note it down before you call us; with it, we often know what to bring before we set off.

Solar thermal
The sun's heat is free, but the system still needs maintaining
A solar thermal system needs maintenance to deliver maximum output with minimum back-up from the boiler or water heater. When it stops contributing, it's almost always the heat transfer fluid, the pump station or the sensor, not the collectors.
We service and repair the complete installation, and check that the back-up comes on when it should and not before.

Three ways we can help
Breakdown repairs
Something has stopped working. We come out, diagnose the problem and give you a quote before we touch anything. The most common parts are carried in the van.
Book an engineerCommissioning
A brand-new unit, just installed. We start it up, adjust it, check the installation and activate the manufacturer's warranty. It's free, and it's required for the warranty to be activated.
Request commissioningMaintenance
Regular servicing so that your unit delivers maximum performance with minimum consumption, lasts longer and meets regulations. On a plan or as a one-off service.

What happens after you call us
You tell us what's happening
By phone or through the form. With the make, the model and the error code, we come much better prepared.
We confirm your appointment
We call you the same day or, at the latest, the next working day to agree a day and time slot.
The engineer visits and diagnoses the fault
In a branded van with the most common genuine spare parts on board. Our engineers carry ID: you can ask to see it before you open the door.
A quote before any repair
If a part needs replacing, we tell you what it costs before we do it. You decide.
If the water heater, boiler or heat pump is leaking a lot of water: turn off the main water stopcock in your home and call us on 871 559 176. That stops the leak and saves you from water damage.
If you smell gas: turn off the gas at the shut-off valve and open the windows. Don't touch any switches or plugs, and call us from outside the property.
If the unit is smoking or getting hotter than it should: switch it off, disconnect it from the mains and call us.

What a repair costs
Prices include VAT. If a part needs replacing, we tell you the price before we change it.

- Call-out charge
- The engineer's travel to you: in Palma or elsewhere on the island.
- Labour
- We charge for the time spent on the job, per minute. The first block (30 minutes, or 60 for heat pumps and solar) is charged at one rate, and the rest at a lower one.
- Combustion analysis
- Measuring the combustion gases to check that the boiler or water heater is running safely and efficiently.
- Advisory visit / Quote
- A visit to diagnose or quote, with no repair carried out.
- One-off service
- Servicing a unit that isn't on a maintenance plan.
- Spare parts
- At the manufacturer's current list price.
- Access to the unit
- The unit must be installed where our engineers can reach it. If not, access and any equipment needed for the repair, such as removing furniture, scaffolding or fall-arrest lines, are at the customer's expense.
- Other work
- On request.
An example. Repairing a boiler in Palma in 45 minutes comes to about €141, VAT included: the call-out charge, the first 30 minutes at one rate and the next 15 at the other. Parts are extra.
Do you have a maintenance plan? The annual service and the labour and call-out for breakdowns are included: you only pay for the spare part. With the extended warranty, the spare part is included too. For a gas water heater or a hot water heat pump, a year's plan costs less than a one-off service. See the plans
